A Shout-Out for the Adventure of a Lifetime

Funky Folks five years ago on Friday, the third of April, I embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. It was Good Friday. To begin this adventure a major reconstruction job was necessary. After some 2,480 billion beats a virus muffled the “kadoof, kadoof, kadoof” weakening my heart. It had to be replaced.

Now, on this high five Friday I thank the specialists who replaced my heart and the great team keeping it ticking since. They are fantastic. I think of the donor and the donor’s family. I thank them for their gift.

I tell you Funky Folks these five years make it a high five. and a time to remember, a time to hold onto and time to celebrate.
