Heaven Or Hell

If memory serves me right I first heard “Hotel California” in my late late teens. Heard it on the radio messing around in a friends garage. To this day it remains remarkable song.

What is remarkable too is that the “Eagles” have soared on the popularity of “Hotel California”.

The lyrics talk of the wild world of excesses; materialism, drug’s, alcohol and sex all mixed up in a confusion of pleasure and pain – heaven or hell, dancing to remember or forget. Sadly it is all addictive and the partakers can never leave to a place they were before.
