Transplant Calypso

News comes and goes but this one stuck like a sticky. “Man receives a genetically-modified pig heart in the first groundbreaking transplant of it’s kind”

It stuck because I have a human heart, transplanted some time ago. It lives in me. We get on, we talk to each other. A sense of humour helps and to that end Jeremy Taylor had something to say regarding this matter.

If this proves to be successful it will save many lives and the implications are many. With gratitude I think of my donor. Maybe with a menagerie the human touch will be lost.
