English Synonyms of “shinding“: get-together, party, social gathering, clambake, fiesta, fight, jam, racket, knees-up, do. A small informal social gathering.
So there we have it Funky Folks, a shinding all neatly wrapped up in words. Shindings are allowed in the fight against COVID-19 – an attempt to boost gutted busineses.
Yesterday’s unprecedented events were the result of a shinding. It’s not every day that a person in charge of a country’s finances just ups and off. This a is bloody serious matter given this pandemic and Canada’s deficit.
A faux pas involving the WE charity caused Mr.Morneau’s departure from government. With out slashing into details let’s just say it was bloody mess.
Later In the day another shinding saw the Deputy Prime Minster being sworn in as the new Finance Minister. Chrystia Freeland becomes the most powerful person in the Liberal Government after the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. She is the first woman to hold the finance position In Canada and with her capability to stitch the wounded economy together the prospects of recovery are greatly enhanced.
Another minuscule shinding happened yesterday that was completed without mishap. It was the result of my faux pas, a ding on the shin that caused a bloody mess – days ago.
The removal of stitches showed a mended shin. Proceed with care Funky Folks to avoid the dings.
