Today’s To Do List

So Funky Folks… What’s to do to day? Top priority on this list is to get dressed, like in the morning, first thing. You’se maya’s well spruce it up ‘cause there are things to do. It’s good to look smartish. Picks you up it does.

A bit of doodling warm’s you’se up ‘n helps to focus on the task at hand. There’s tons of apps out there to get you’se to focus. They be in the productivity section. I didn’t know that until it was too late.

I must go shoppin’ for food. Essential. So I write to myself – check the shoppin’ list on the fridge downstairs before going out. Imagine trying to buy stuff without it. You’se come home with all the wrong stuff. A lot more stuff. Your’s partner tells ya “Honey bunch, I told you’se we need buttermilk so what’s all this condensed milk?” Your reply that it tastes so good in the coffee does not go down well.

“You know Honey theres apps out there for shoppin’.

Get a haircut is next on this list. Go’s with the smartish thing. Hmm…I think to myself what a wonderful non-essential thing to do but it does look good on the list and on me. Fills the list up. Important to have a busy day now is’nt.

Wee’se need to stay in touch with what’s happinin’ in our big wide world now don’t we. To buy a newspaper goes on the do-list but not the newspaper that comes with take out fish and chips.

Now I need to go down to the sacred store where I’d heard the music played before. There were three wise guys there, most helpful. Pity they took the last train to the coast.

Yikes Funky Folks this one is important. Exercise. Every day. Maybe another to-do-list will cover the things to do every day. It could be called Everyday Life stuff. Yeah! What is it you want to do?

Just do it Funky Folks. Put your lights on. The days mantra.

This bubble bursts when you live-in partner breaks the fun exclaiming, “Its a lockdown Honey. Totally Locked. We ain’t going nowhere. Big trouble in town”.

The sound of silence is broken the scrunching up of paper and the whirring of a computer starting up. It’s all on line from now on Funky Folks. Yup, what we do and how we do it is on the line.
